A handy tip
with a jar that has come to its natural end is to remove the remaining wax and
melt in your warmer. That’s just what we did with Sicilian Lemon to start the
week. A lovely couple of evenings with the bittersweet tones of this delightful
fragrance.
Before our
short break, Pink Hibiscus had a long burn to start a few days off from work. A
lovely, fun, fruity, fantasy floral – Pink Hibiscus is a surefire winner from
the 2014 new releases.
Back from
holiday (oh, that was quick!) and we needed a pick me up and Vanilla Chai did
just the job. Not for all tastes but I love its mixed spicy notes sprinkled
with just the slightest sweet touch.
Camomile Tea
had a lovely long burn on Sunday morning. Definitely more in common with honey
than tea, it is a very strong fragrance, yet its sweetness lightly washes over
you. This makes it perfect for a morning or a relaxing afternoon.
Lilac
Blossoms followed probably for the last time this year. Sadly, the blooms are already
fading our our lilac bush but the lush, strong scent of the flowers live on
with this so true to life fragrance.
And finally,
to celebrate having a Monday off, I chose a rather special candle to close the
week. One of my absolute all time favourites – Evening Air. To me it has
everything – the most stunning picture, the deepest beautiful dark blue wax
colour and a scent to die for. It is literally like unspoiled, clean night air dashed
with a splash of exotic aftershave. Bliss!
