It’s a

I’ll be
taking a look at the collection with my own thoughts at using these car
products for the first time – and I’m very lucky to have Yankee Candle Brand
Ambassadors Steven Corfield and Rosa Speyer’s thoughts on their favourites too.
This special
collection for your car has an amazing fragrance life of up to 64 weeks – so
lots of Yankee scent to keep you on the road.
It’s a first
for me having never tried anything from the car collection before and what
really surprised me was how authentic the fragrances are. They are exactly the
same as you get in the candle range – that true to life scent that we love so
much.
Let’s take a
closer look at what’s in the collection :
There are 4
Car Jar Ultimates – each of which lasts up to 4 weeks
Also there
are 6 Vent Sticks packs with 4 sticks in each pack. Each stick lasts up to 2
weeks, meaning each pack lasts up to 8 weeks in total.
As always
with Yankee it’s about the fragrances so let’s take a look…
In the Car
Jar ultimates we have Ocean Blossom, Macintosh, Coconut Bay and Lavender
Vanilla.
Coconut Bay
is an unusual scent to see as it isn’t available in candle form in the European
range. It is a lovely pure coconut scent which will sweeten up the travelling
miles in your car. It could be raining outside, but you’ll have a tropical
paradise in your car interior!
I just love
the look of these car jar ultimates with their jar shape and of course the
iconic Yankee Candle fragrance images on show.
In the Vent
Stick packs you get Black Cherry, Sun & Sand, Midsummer’s Night, Coconut
Bay, Garden Sweet Pea and French Vanilla.
Garden Sweet
Pea has that lovely fresh floral scent that for me would be perfect inside a
car. Oh and how cute are these vent sticks with their little pop out Yankee
Candle badge on the end!
Steven
Corfield is hosting all of the Yankee shows today (the 28th) and
they are live on air at 12am, 12pm, 3pm, 7pm and 10pm (the midnight launch show
is also repeated at 4am and 8am).
I asked
Steven which of the car collection scents would drive him wild in his car….
“For me it has to be the Black Cherry,
French Vanilla and Coconut bay vent sticks. People who know me know that I just
adore these fragrances. It just so wonderful that I have the option to take our
fragrance from the home and extend it to my car (where I spend a lot of time). I also love how with the vent sticks you can
control how much fragrance you have, of course I have all 4 in at once!”
You don’t
have to use the car collection in your vehicle and you may not drive. You could
easily hang a car jar ultimate in a small room such as a bathroom or cloakroom
to deliver a lovely fragrance. And then why not give the vent sticks as a gift
to the favourite driver in your life or next time someone gives you a lift!
Rosa might
not be presenting the shows this time around, but she couldn’t resist telling
me which of the scents steer her in the right direction!
“Oooh do I have to pick just one? I'm really
looking forward to Sun & Sand as it makes me feel like I'm driving to the
beach. BUT... I'm also ridiculously excited about Ocean Blossom which I LOVE!!”
