MY YANKEE CANDLE DIARY : GOD BLESS AMERICA, LET FREEDOM RING, STARS & STRIPES, RED RASPBERRY, SNOW IN LOVE & more (we 1 Feb)

At least there were a couple of themes for me last week. Snow!! For the first time in two years where I live we had a light snowfall and also it was the Superbowl weekend, which gave me the chance to pretend I’m American!
The week had a frosty start so winter warmers aplenty, Yankee Candle wise. Sugared Apple is our household’s favourite wintery fragrance, never get tired of it.

Angel’s Wings came next. Not as much throw as the first burn, I couldn’t pick up the lovely floral notes, with it being more pure sugary this time around.

Willow Breeze is such a strong, fresh scent in tart form. I regret not buying a jar when I had the opportunity. It was the perfect accompaniment for Vikings (TV series) and The Hobbit (Smaug – Extended Edition)!

Snow In Love anticipated our first snowfall of the season and it has a lovely soft perfumed feel. Just like going out for a wintery walk with a loved one who smells nice!

The light snow hit and Sparkling Snow was burned in its honour!

Red Raspberry followed and I’ve reviewed that elsewhere. It has a pleasant, tangy raspberry aroma.

Start & Stripes got me in Americana mood, ready for Sunday’s Superbowl. This sweet cinnamon scent is great.

Started Sunday with Let Freedom Ring. This scent is utterly wonderful. It is a soft, perfumed,  woodsy vanilla with a light twist of floral. Divine!

Mandarin Cranberry then  warmed up the chilly afternoon.

Taking us through the night and the Superbowl was God Bless America. A really lovely fragrance it is sweet juicy apples sprinkled with brown sugar and a tiny hint of spice.

See you soon!
