Yankee
Candle’s Halloween offerings are now appearing at retailers across the UK so it
is time to take a closer look at what has been brought to Europe this year.
I have to
start with a slight sense of disappointment in that we only get a tiny fraction
of the YC Halloween items that are offered in the USA but that comes with the
territory for all things Halloween in the UK. I think it
is time we stood up though and let it be known that we love Halloween here too!
In fact it is my favourite time of year and candles and their accessories can
only enhance the Halloween season.
Let’s start with the re release
of the popular Witches Brew and Candy Corn scents in medium jars with a brand
new wrap.
Witches Brew and Candy Corn
are two favourites of mine. For any dark spooky night or accompanying any
horror movie – Witches Brew is a must, while Candy Corn brings to mind the
smell of Halloween sweets, autumn fairs and firework parties.
For the first time this
year both fragrances are available as tarts and they also get the new wrap for
the votives.
In terms of accessories a
favourite among fans already seem to be the cat accessories - you’ll want these black cats to cross your
path! Available as a tea light holder and a cute jar clinger.
There is also a small jar
and tea light sleeve with a lovely pumpkin design..
And lastly some attractive
votive holders to make sure your Halloween season goes off with a real bump in
the night!
