It seems
that possibly three fragrances retired over the past year or so by Yankee
Candle could be making a return in 2014 .. and could there be a surprise spring release too?
Multiple
sources and retailers are now confirming some of the information (but please be aware it is
still a RUMOUR), we just await the official
word from Yankee Candle!
VANILLA
SATIN
This
luscious, luxurious vanilla fragrance is like setting foot into the most
exquisite room or suite in a 5 star hotel. Whatever space you use the Vanilla
Satin fragrance in, it will feel like a million dollars! The return of Vanilla
Satin will perhaps make up for the Yankee Candle fans disappointment at the
equally luxurious Red Velvet disappearing from the range last year.
SPICED
ORANGE
Already back
on mass release at Clintons shops before Christmas, the rumours are strong that
Spiced Orange could be making a permanent return to the range. It’s a rich,
deep orange which is perfect for the winter months. If you are looking for a
brighter, juicier orange – wait for this year’s summer release from Yankee
Candle available from April with the mouthwatering Orange Splash being
launched.
WILD PASSION
FRUIT
I’ve only
recently heard this rumour, but some sources are promising the return of Wild
Passion Fruit, which was retired last summer. If true, you’ll be sure to enjoy
this very sweet almost candy like fragrance.
TULIPS
And a spring
surprise? A retailer or two are already listing medium jars of Tulips in a gift box set for sale but mention it as a USA
import. I had heard the Tulips gift box was to get a limited edition UK release, so watch your
stores for this hitherto (to me) unknown fragrance appearing! The official
description for Tulips is “Naturally clean and bright, it captures the essence
of a dewy spring morning.”
