Easter Yankee Candle Burn Diary (and the build up!)

Finished all your Easter eggs yet? Phew, where's the salad!

This burn diary goes through the tumultuous weather of March finishing at Easter, so without further ado...

STAR PERFORMER - RAINBOW'S END

When Rainbow's End returned a year or two ago a few people said that they weren't that impressed with the scent. I have to admit the opposite so far, I find Rainbow's End is a real winner. It has a great throw and is a real soapy fresh fragrance - quite different from most of the other 'blue' fresh candles.

Meadow Showers is perfect for a rainy month and it has a real touch of spring mixed in with the dewy wet grass aroma.

Mountain Lodge is such an indulgent fragrance. It smells very different burning to how it does melting. A beautiful subtlety that enriches your room.

Spiced Orange has been a favourite throughout Winter and is still welcome on those colder evenings.

Grapevine & Oak's lovely aroma of smoky, woodsy grapes is the perfect accompaniment to a weekend night and a glass of vino!

Fireside lights up any evening with its incense, aftershave aroma. It really has the feel of being outdoors with a fire burning - just like the picture!

And the snow was back. Time to dig out those Warm Woolen Mittens!

Hot Buttered Rum is an acquired taste. It has a really rich butterscotch type aroma laced with a hint of alcohol and tons of sugar!

And who'd have thought it? Cherries On Snow in March!

Warm Chesnut I like, but my wife hates it! It's another in a similar vein to Apple & Pine Needle and Warm Autumn Evening.

Toasting my new Home Sweet Home Illuma Lid with the wonderful grapefruit heavy fruit mix of Citrus Tango!

Tutti Frutti has a wonderful bag of sweets aroma! A great warm up for Easter.

The super strong Juicy Watermelon never disappoints, it's one of Yankee's strongest throwers.

Honey Glow has never been my favourite fragrance, but its honey tinged perfume is quite pleasant.

The sparkling anticipation of a storm is captured in a floral bouquet that is Storm Watch!

Windblown has such an elegant beauty. This is the perfect accompaniment to any beach or outdoors movie.

Frankincense is another of those great warmers for cold nights (and there's been enough of them this month!)

Warm Spice has been another of my regulars for the past few months. It has a light spice with a vanilla nuttiness.

Pink Grapefruit is a straight ahead lovely morning fragrance.

As Easter weekend starts, the indulgence of Red Velvet sets the scene!

Peach & Lavender is the most unusual and pleasant fragrance. Uplifting, fresh and fruity!

It might be raining outside but you can always hunker down with Home Sweet Home (original label of course!)

Evening Air went well with a live music concert video. One of my all time favourites but it didn't throw well this time.

...unlike Sugar Cookie Martini which fills a room and more!

Easter Saturday and a lemony fresh wake up with Early Sunrise!

Followed by the wonderful fresh aroma of Blue Satin Sashes! This is another great thrower, always fills the whole downstairs.

Vanilla Chai is THE candle to go with an exotic spicy meal.

Spring was in the air for a couple of hours. The wonderful powdery sweet original Cherry Blossom!

Getting ready for Easter lunch with the icy pink sweetness of Bunny Cake!

And a touch of freshness for Sunday evening with the crunch of Granny Smith.

And to finish off this month ... guess what.. more rain! Fortunately the divine fresh out of the shower River Valley lifts the spirits.

See you soon!
