Melting
Farmer’s Market started the week, a lovely blend of cinnamon and fruit.
Vanilla
Satin is always a pleasure to burn. This vanilla fragrance has a real sense of
indulgence – it just feels like a million dollars!
Autumn
Wreath is obviously perfect for the time of year. Again it is cinnamon and
fruits but also green leafy notes are detectable. Very comforting.
Candy Corn
and Halloween have become synonymous to me. Its butterscotchy sweet flavour is
the perfect treat (with no tricks!).
First ever
burn of Storm Watch on Saturday morning. Tops of my wants list for ages I was
so pleased to get hold of a couple of jars a few months ago. Not quite what you’d
expect as Storm Watch is quite a strong, sharp floral with dashes of ‘spritz’
as well. It gives a real sense of anticipation when burning it. Foliage tends
to smell quite strongly before a storm and I really enjoyed my first burn of
it. A nice, bold fragrance.
Some Willow
Breeze tea lights followed to make bath time a treat! It’s very spa like.
Another
first burn on Saturday evening with brand new scent Wild Fig. This is such a
true to life fragrance – well done Yankee Candle! It is literally like walking
into a kitchen full of chopped up figs – really a lovely scent.
Camomile Tea
gently eased Sunday in. It is such a morning fragrance. Just like a cup of
calming tea with a large spoonful of honey stirred in.
To close
the week, the lovely warming marshmallowness of Fireside Treats. This fragrance
is lovely and strong now, hard to believe we struggled with it at first. Just
goes to show, don’t give up on your jars if you hit a light or dry patch.
And from
Team Yankee Global Facebook last week, it has to be another ‘anicandle’ photo.
This one is from Anth of his (self described!) grumpy cat with Lavender Vanilla.
